Hands On Forsyth: Hands On Forsyth is a volunteer initiative of the Forsyth County Community Connection.  This initiative began in 2005 in response to the need for a centralized volunteer resource program in our community.  Basically, they can connect you with several volunteer opportunities in the county.  Visit their website at www.handsonforsyth.org for more information or or call Kerry Rosewall and Jerry Dupree at 770-205-1701.

Flood Student Missions: Flood exists to provide local mission opportunities so that students can saturate their communities with the heart and hands of Christ. Visit www.floodstudentmissions.org for more information.

Walker Therapy Services:  Provides Hippotherapy and Equine Assisted Therapy in the form of occupational, physical or speech therapy at a facility located in Forsyth County. Volunteers assist in leading the horse & helping the therapist with the therapy session

Forsyth Senior Center: Currently seeking volunteers for the Meals on Wheels Program, Friends of Seniors Program and various other center related opportunities. For more information on these programs please call Tasha Davis at (770) 781-2178.

Ninth District Opportunity, Inc: A private, non-profit corporation that works in partnership with low-income people promoting access to opportunities leading toward Self-Development, Self-Reliance & Self-Determination. Tara Plantation:  Offers assisted living and specialized Alzheimer's Care. Call 770-888-1114 to plan a visit.  They are familiar with our school.

White Oaks Nursing Home:  Contact Sue at 770-889-7889 to plan a visit.  She’s the activities coordinator and is familiar with our school.

Angel Food Ministries:  A non-profit, non-denominational organization dedicated to providing grocery relief and financial support to communities throughout the United States. Miracle League (Forsyth County) Baseball: Be a buddy to a special needs child at one of the Miracle League’s Baseball Games.  Fall (Sept – Oct) and Spring (April – May) Games on Saturday mornings at Coal Mountain Park.  Schedule is generally posted at their website: www.cfcml.org.  To volunteer, contact Steve Miller at StMiller@forsyth.k12.ga.us.  For individuals, you can also show up on game day at Coal Mountain Park to see if they need help!

The Place of Forsyth County:  The Place is a non-profit social service organization that has been serving Forsyth County families since 1975 with critical services. There’s Hope for the Hungry:  Based at First Redeemer Church in Cumming.  Volunteer opportunities to go out and feed the hungry in the North Georgia area.
