Horizon Christian Academy was founded in May 2000 as a ministry to families desiring a Christ-centered, nondenominational approach to education and individual growth. HCA is accredited through The Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI). ACSI is recognized under the Georgia Private School Accreditation Council (GAPSAC) and the Georgia Board of Regents.

HCA is a member of the Independent Christian Schools of Georgia and Alabama Athletic Association and the North Georgia Christian Girls Soccer Association. Here at Horizon, we believe in being an integrated member of the community. We actively participate in Leadership Forsyth, Youth Leadership Forsyth, and Cumming/Forsyth Chamber of Commerce.

Our current elementary campus Pilgrim Hall, allows for the education of grades K-6. Our new secondary campus Sojourn Hall, allows for grades 7-12. Eventually, as the Lord leads, our vision for Horizon Christian Academy encompasses a growth up to 1,300 students at one K-12 campus.
